• The Facility Planning Committee examines and evaluates boundary alternatives and recommends options for a comprehensive boundary master plan to the Board of Education. This committee, composed of patrons, Board of Education members and district staff, typically meets every two years to review projected facility registrations and recommend boundaries for schools and on an as-needed basis. The committee will also meet when the district is opening new school facilities.



    After a comprehensive evaluation in October 2018, the Facility Planning Committee recommended no changes to the current configuration of schools and boundaries. Several schools will be a part of future discussions. A summary of the Committee’s work is available in the FPC Summary document. The committee will convene again in Fall 2019.

    Membership is made up of three Blue Valley Board of Education members, patron members from each high school district and four district staff members. Mike Slagle, Deputy Superintendent, is the committee chair.
