Elementary and Middle School All-Virtual Option for 2022-2023

  • Blue Valley’s Partnership with Greenbush Virtual Academy

Blue Valley has again entered into a partnership with Greenbush Education Service Center’s Virtual Academy for the 2022-23 school year. Blue Valley students in grades K-8 have an opportunity to enroll in the Greenbush Virtual Academy (GVA) for the 2022-23 school year. GVA is fully accredited by the Kansas State Department of Education and has administered a virtual program for several years. Last year, GVA partnered with nearly 90 districts across the state to offer an all-virtual option to Kansas students.

GVA is a full-time virtual alternative to in-person attendance where students remain enrolled as Blue Valley students. For the 2022-23 academic year, we are asking families to make a commitment to remain in GVA for the entire school year. There will not be an option to switch back and forth between GVA and in-person learning.

The GVA enrollment window will open on Monday, March 7 at 8:00 a.m. and close on Thursday, March 31 at 8:00 a.m. No registrations will be accepted after this date due to the timeline Blue Valley needs to share student enrollment numbers and student information with GVA to ensure they can staff accordingly based on state-wide enrollment numbers. GVA has requested we submit this information by Friday, April 1st.

Please complete the GVA Application Form to enroll your student in the virtual option for the 2022-23 academic year. The form will not go live until Monday, March 7 at 8:00 am.
