• Dear Parents and Families,

I want to first thank you all for entrusting your children to us this year!!  I am very excited to meet you all!  This will be my third year teaching in the Blue Valley School District.  Prior to that, I taught Kindergarten in western Kansas, in a little town called Garden City!!  I see this experience as valuable to your children because we now have a firsthand glance at what we need to get them ready for!!  I also attended Blue Valley Schools from Kindergarten all the way thorough High School, so I must say, I am a little partial.  J

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science as well as a master’s degree in Early Children Special Education, from the University of Kansas.  Go Jayhawks!!  I have had a wealth of experience working with young children for the past eleven years.  I have had the opportunity to work with infants and families with visual disabilities, children on the Autism Spectrum, as well as settings very similar to those at Oak Hill.   As an educator, I believe all children are unique.  They possess special skills and talents that when given the chance, they can share with the world.  I am a firm believer in families and teachers working together as one.  I fully plan on utilizing all of you to be a part of setting your child up for success.

I will strive to communicate efficiently with each of you throughout the year.  Phone calls are always welcome.  My classroom phone number is 239-6922.  E-mail is most likely the easiest way to communicate regularly, so please feel free to contact me with any helpful information, questions, or concerns about your child.  My email address is:  amdudley02@bluevalleyk12.org

We are certainly on the road to your child’s school career.  I feel so blessed to be a part of this journey!

    Warmest Regards,

    Abby Dudley
