Blue Valley Schools ranked among the top in Forbes’ 2021 list of America’s Best Employers by State
Blue Valley Schools was named to the 2021 Forbes Best-in-State Employers list, ranking #2 overall among Kansas employers. Coming in at number two, Blue Valley is the top-ranked school district employer in the state for the third straight year. Forbes began naming America’s Best Employers by State three years ago, in 2019.
“Our goal is to provide positive work environments for our more than 3,000 employees,” said Dr. Eric Punswick, Blue Valley’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “They are at the heart of our mission to provide the highest-quality learning experiences for over 22,500 students as we work together to reimagine learning so our students can change the world. Our Blue Valley staff as a collective whole are what make this district a great place to work and this accolade further emphasizes that.”
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to select America’s Best-in-State Employers based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 80,000 U.S. employees. Surveys were conducted on a rolling basis from October 2020 to June 2021. Surveys were anonymous, allowing participants to openly share their opinions. Respondents were asked to rate their employers on a variety of criteria, as well as share how likely they’d be to recommend their employer to others and to nominate organizations in industries outside their own.
